Overview

The Secretariat is proud to announce that MUNEX 2011 will be taking place from the 28th to the 31st of January. MUNEX 2011 will be once again focusing on human rights issues and will be specifically dealing with the theme "Responsibility to Protect: Keeping the Peace in the 21st Century". The conference will consist of the simulation of the Human Rights Council, the Security Council together with Speakers sessions and Workshops conducted by world experts in the field of Peacekeeping.

Venue

MUNEX 2011 will, as in previous editions, take place in the University of Essex Colchester Campus. The campus is in a perfect location, easily accessable by delegates coming from the UK, Europe and worldwide. It is only a 50-minute train ride from London, 30-minute train ride from Harwich, where ferries to Hook of Holland depart frequently, and less than an hour away from Stansted Airport, in which many budget airlines such as Ryanair fly to.

Accommodation
