As we have been delegates before, we know it is always a pain to think about the travelling fees for the conference, let alone the accommodation and catering arrangement.  Therefore in MUNEX, we try our best to cover you with the most we could.

Catering and Socials

Not only tea and coffee is provided during the committee sessions throughout the conference, most of the caterings are provided as well.  On Saturday and Sunday, lunch will be served in the on campus restaurants to minimise the time for transportation.  For dinners and socials, on the Friday night, you will be served buffet style dinner in Level 2, one of the social places on campus, and followed by International Night where you will be able to celebrate our own diversity on the dance floor.  On the Saturday, the whole delegation and all staff will head to Wivenhoe, a small but beautiful town which historically was a village, to enjoy a formal dinner, and follow by the exciting and interesting pub crawl.  There will be a social package upon purchase during registration which includes both the Friday and Saturday evening socials for £15 per person.

Accommodation

MUNEX is going to provide accommodation for 15 delegates by Host Essex students in a first-come-first-serve basis.  The accommodation may be on or off campus, and it may charge a maximum of £5 per night just to cover the cost of providing mattress and bedding, which is much cheaper than any accommodation you could find in the town centre of Colchester or Wivenhoe.  Also, by staying with Essex student, not only you are able to know more about the university, but also you could meet new friends and exchange ideas, sometimes maybe a life-long friend!  If you are interested in applying for this type of accommodation, please follow the link to complete separate registration.
